Geelong Art Revealed Exhibition is one of the events scheduled for the Streets Are Alive community event next weekend on 8 and 9 October 2011. Held at the National Wool Museum, the ‘Artist’s Studio’ themed exhibition has 37 artists displaying their works in painting, photography, silk art, lino cut and sculpture. All the artists are from the Geelong region and will display three creations each, using an easel decorated to suit the theme. Some larger works will also be displayed and available for sale.
You can show your appreciation of the artist’s work by voting for the People’s Choice Best Art Piece. The winning artist will receive a voucher kindly donated by Cavalier Art.
Saturday 8 October 10.00am to 4.30pm and Sunday 9 October 10.00am to 4.30pm.
The exhibition is being held in the National Wool Museum, 26 Moorabool St, Geelong. Ph: (03) 5272 4701. Entry is free but other exhibitions within the National Wool Museum incur a charge.
